"I have had the positive opportunity to be associated with Ryan at the Animal Hospital of Los Lunas where he was the Practice Manager for three years. Needless-to-say, the improvement of every facet of this animal clinic was extremely noticeable by everyone who had the good pleasure of going there for their animal care and concerns. I was in the practice almost every one to two months and saw first-hand how Ryan managed everything. His ability to work with the staff, as well as customers, is one of his greatest talents. His warm and considerate, yet professional and efficient way of dealing with people will be a tremendous asset for him in any endeavor he undertakes. Very few people have the gift of working well with people, and Ryan has it in spades! He makes it a “win-win” for both his employer as well as his customers.
The Animal Hospital also improved its’ overall building design inside and out because of Mr. Van Otten’s unusual ability to create more efficient work spaces for the staff, costumers, and the animals.
Ryan also put together a unique and fun Christmas-New Years’ party for his staff and customers that was well-organized, gracious and beautifully conceived. Everyone had a fabulous time. How many people can run a business office and keep the finances-on-track, and also plan and host a banquet? Again, I reply: Ryan Van Otten. He is multi-talented in every endeavor or challenges a business, or office, may require. He is not afraid to tackle anything and as a single man he has the energy and focus to make his work his number one priority. It is his life to run and create efficient endeavors with a professional and warm personality."

"We have been clients of the Animal Hospital of Los Lunas for several years. We were looking for a facility that would meet our needs. We do rescue for Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network, and we need a place that could sometimes just walk in or schedule and appointment. We found this with this clinic. Ryan has always been there to accommodate us. His professional outlook for us is extremely high; we have seen an escalated improvement in both the facility and the work force. He has changed the entire look of the clinic. The staff, he has hired is professional and always ready to help us out. They know when it is an emergency or just a walk in or a scheduled appointment; he has taught them to always accommodate us.
The improvements, such as updating the facility, have been done with a limitation of resources, but he has done it and did well. He has improved an old facility to something bright and well organized, this includes inside and outside.
Ryan is always there to make sure we are taken care of and especially our Rescues. He makes sure we get the best service and always makes sure we are given the best care and always gives us the best possible price for the services. We were clients of a larger veterinary clinic in Los Lunas, and we found the Animal Hospital of Los Lunas, are more accommodating and appreciative of our business. Ryan’s ability to organize and make something happen is incredible, he is a highly organized and detailed person, and he gets the job done. He would be an asset to anyone’s work force."

"I have been a client at Animal Hospital of Los Lunas for close to twenty years. I have known Ryan Van Otten as an employee of the hospital for approximately three years, ever since he started working there. Since Ryan Van Otten has worked at the hospital I have seen changes in the look and feel of the waiting rooms. They have been painted and are brighter. Having a cheerier atmosphere is healing when a person is waiting with an ill or wounded animal.
Ryan has been able to retain my business by remaining competetive in his pricing. He also has a handle of customer service as if he has been doing it forever. He has implemented a reminder call system that didn't exist before. I am called the day before an appointment and given a friendly and informative reminder. This is very helpful. The staff he has integrated are knowledgeable and friendly. Phone calls are quickly answered.
When I need to reorder food or medicine it is done promptly and I receive a call when it has arrived. My large food purchases are carried to the car for me. Ryan knows my pets well. He is always able to ask me how So and So is doing. He remembers their ailments and my concerns. Once he was driving by as I walked a dog and stopped for a moment to say hello and ask how things were going. This acknowledging of me out of office hours was a pleasant touch. I felt as though I am a person to him, not just a client.
Ryan Van Otten is always dressed appropriately and well groomed. His speech is proper and never condescending. His tone is caring. He explains things well and is not over dramatic."
